The water in the lakes and rivers of this country is usually treated, chlorinated, filtered, and pH adjusted to make it fresh and pure. The problem is that it is treated with chemicals that have been in the water for hundreds of years. The problem is that they are not removed or treated in the way they are now. This water is usually not treated, it is just dumped into rivers and lakes.
I am not saying that I think all of our water is treated, I think that it is treated in such a way that it is just as good as it would have been a long time ago. I think that it is not as safe to drink and it is not as pure as it once was. For instance, the water that is being treated here in Missouri is treated with BPA, Bisphenol A.
BPA and Bisphenol A are both known endocrine disruptors. While BPA is a common ingredient in products that our bodies make to regulate our hormones, Bisphenol A is a synthetic compound that is even more dangerous. Because it is even more dangerous, it has been banned on all kinds of food and water, and is so commonly used that it is used in water coolers and other things that we use to cool our drinks.
This is a big deal for water and for water treatment. In the US it is listed in all of the Department of Agriculture Food and Drug Administration regulations. The FDA is also currently in the process of revising the regulations to include BPA in the list of endocrine disruptors.
The problem is that it is also popular in the United States and many people are not aware of what it is used for. It is used for all kinds of medical research and everything that is supposed to be done for it.
In a 2011 study, scientists found that the compound, known as bisphenol A, was found in urine samples from all kinds of animal species, including those that are normally considered to be non-human.
While bisphenol A is currently classified as a “regulated substance,” that doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to worry about using it in your body any more. If you’re concerned, there are many other alternatives out there. The first is to simply use plain water in small amounts. Don’t worry about the BPA in your drinking water—that’s just a byproduct of the fact that you’re drinking water.
Even if you avoid BPA, it still sticks around in many things that it comes into contact with. For example most household plastics and some types of glass use BPA. So if youve ever bought a new home, you can rest assured that BPA will be involved in the construction processes.
