While the classes are not exactly the same, most of the instructors are a variation of the same people who teach med school. They want you to have a broad outlook on medical issues and how to treat them. With one of the instructors, I learned about the many different ways a patient’s body is broken down into different components, and how to use those parts to treat different ailments.
This is the most comprehensive medical school out there (at least the US-based ones). And you know what? I’m glad I found it. I’m not sure what it is about going to medical school that makes me so happy, but I love it. I learned my first lesson in medical school a few years ago when a woman I’d been dating for two years told me that she’d had a bad reaction to a medication of mine and was hospitalized.
The thing that makes me happy, however, is that I learned that I was not the only one being treated this way. I am so glad that I learned about it in medical school, because this is not the first time I’ve been treated this way. This is my first hospitalization where I have a choice to make.
